Borg Running Vest Ripstop

The Björn Borg Borg Running Vest Ripstop is an technical vest jacket made from 100% recycled polyester. It comes in a regular fit with a zipper down the front. Featuring a zipper pocket on the chest, a centre back bottom pocket for balanced storage, a vent at the upper back with mesh lining for breathability, a hidden drawstring and adjuster at the bottom, and a reflective stripe on the lower back and reflective logo prints for visibility.

Materials

100% Polyester - Recycled

A large part of the materials in Björn Borg products are recycled. They use recycled polyester and recycled polyamide. Recycled polyamide is made from plastics from industrial waste as well as plastics from the oceans such as fishing nets and plastic mats.

Recycled polyester is mainly made from PET bottles and industrial waste. In production, less water and less energy are used. It also generates up to 30% less carbon dioxide emissions compared to new polyester.

All Björn Borg recycled yarns come from vendors that hold a Global Recycle Standard certificate. It is an independent, third-party certification of recycled content addressing traceability, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. Validity of the certification is checked for every new collection.
