The optimal modern cross -country jacket for the environmentally conscious skier, which is perfected for training in cold environments. DÆHLIE strives to create products in a way that can reduce their ecological footprint, and Aware jacket is their latest progress on the way to become more sustainable. Aware jacket consists of recycled 3-layer-softshell, which is laminated with a PUEMBRAN, and elastic fabric that is strategically placed on the back and under the arms to ensure optimal mobility and ventilation. The PU membrane is designed so that they keep moisture away and transport moisture from the inside. Therefore, the jacket dries quickly and breathes well through the training. This jacket was designed with padding on the exposed chest area and keeps it warm on the coldest days. The upholstery is located to avoid the hottest zone of the body to reduce excess moisture so that you feel comfortable throughout the training. This padded jacket has shaped sleeves, adjustable lower edge and elastic cuffs that ensure optimal adjustment. Other attributes are chin protection and two zipper in pockets. This jacket isolated with Thermore® Ecodown, which consists exclusively of recycled fibers made of PET bottles, offers heat with improved durability throughout the entire lifespan of the garment, while at the same time is a lower environmental impact.

Cross-country legend Bjørn Dæhlie pushed the limits of his sport in the 1990s. He raked in Olympic medals and world championships. He established his eponymous brand in 1996, at the height of his career. Today DÆHLIE offers sustainably produced sportswear which are perfect for cross-country skiing, running and other high-impact outdoor sports.
The production sites are in Far East, and they are strictly monitored and follow the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights and The International Labour Organization ILO's regulations that involve: Equal pay between men and women, no child labour and no exceeding of normal work hours. All of their workers are entitled to overtime provisions, and to get breaks during their work days.
Most of the materials used for the production are bluesign certified, mulesing-free merino wool or recycled polyester.
