Patagonia does not use Phthalates in their production and they also aim to become Perfluorinated Chemicals free in their production by 2025. A large part of Patagonia's products are made in China and Vietnam. Patagonia holds its suppliers (and itself) to the highest environmental and social standards in the industry.
