Shadeshares are quality sunglasses made of Finnish birch veneer with polarized UV protection lenses. All the sunglasses, down to every single detail, are made in SOS Children’s Village in Nairobi, Kenya. The workshop is currently training and employing 20 youngsters who come from the Kariobangi & Korogocho slums. They are taught and tutored by Henry, who is in charge of the production in Kenya.
Participating in World Vision’s youth program in Kenya, these young people get valuable working-life skills and professional training. Shadeshares then employs them and pays the salary.
