Girlfriend CollectiveDen viktigaste råvaran är plastavfall från havet, dvs. plastflaskor och fiskenät. Ett par leggings tillverkas till exempel av 11 plastflaskor. Girlfriend CollectiveMiljöns kläder är OEKO-certifierade och deras plagg färgas på ett giftfritt sätt som respekterar miljön. De konsumentförpackningar som Girlfriend använder är också ansvarsfullt valda och 100 % återvunna och återvinningsbara.
Sociala villkor
Girlfriend Collective tillverkar sina textilier i en anläggning i Taiwan som är specialiserad på produktion av miljövänliga textilier. Skärning och sömnad sker i noggrant utvalda fabriker och deras kärnfabrik ligger i Hanoi i Vietnam. Fabriken är SA8000-certifierad, vilket garanterar deras arbetare rättvisa löner, hälso- och säkerhetsvillkor och många andra viktiga saker. SA8000-fabriker granskas regelbundet och Girlfriend Collective besöker också sin certifierade fabrik regelbundet.
Klimat
För Girlfriend Collectiveär det också mycket viktigt med miljöskydd. De gör ett viktigt arbete genom att använda plastavfall från haven som råmaterial för sina kläder, vilket gör att flaskorna kan återvinnas från haven. Girlfriend bekräftar också att minst 50 % av den energi de använder kommer från förnybara källor.
Shortsit olivat juuri sellaiset kuin odotinkin. Sopiva pituus ja ihanat luumunvärisinä! Pysyvät hyvin paikallaan pyöräillessä ja kävelyillä. :)

Miellyttävät treenishortsit
Näissä on ihanan korkea vyötärö, jonka myötä (ja muutenkin) tuntuma on kivan napakka, muttei puristava. Lahkeet ovat pitkähköt ja itse tykkäisin ehkä enemmän biker- ja run-mallin välimaastosta, yllätyin kuitenkin positiivisesti etteivät nämä nyt ihan polviinkaan asti tulleet, vaikka olen melko lyhyt (160cm). Otin M-koon aiempien pitkien GC:n leggingsien perusteella, ja se olikin minulle sopiva, vaikka olen L-kokoa mittataulukon mukaan. Materiaali on paksuhkoa, joustaa hyvin muttei mitään superelastista, vaan ennemmin jämäkät. Harmillisesti oranssissa värissä näkyy helposti läpi, pitää miettiä aika tarkkaan minkä väriset alushousut laittaa alle 😅 Salikäyttöön on ainakin passelit, tykkään kovasti 👌🏼
