Ringlussevõetud polüestrist spordirõivad

Keskkonnasõbralikke spordirõivaid saab valmistada ringlussevõetud polüestrist. Aktiiv- ja spordirõivaste jaoks mõeldud ringlussevõetud polüestrit valmistatakse tavaliselt vanadest plastpudelitest ja kalavõrkudest. Kõigepealt korjatakse plastijäätmed kokku ja sorteeritakse need tüübi ja värvi järgi. Seejärel pestakse need, purustatakse ja tükeldatakse helvesteks ning sulatatakse seejärel graanuliteks. Graanulid sulatatakse ja ekstrudeeritakse, et valmistada kiudu, mis on töödeldakse kangaks ja spordirõivaste valmistamine võib alata! 

Ringlussevõetud polüester on kiirestisulav kergem materjal aktiivrõivaste ja aluskihtide jaoks. Ringlussevõetud tooted vähendavad jäätmete hulka ja vajavad tootmiseks vähem energiat kui esmased kiudained.
