Picture Organic uses over 70% environmentally preferred raw-materials of their volume. They use mostly organic cotton and their cotton products are Oeko-Tex certified. 69% of their polyester is made from recycled plastic bottles and they also use Bio-polyester made from sugar cane. Their technical garments are PFC-free and dyeing is done with Avitera Se dyes. Picture Organic makes long lasting products and always makes it a priority to repair broken products if possible.
Picture Organic's products are manufactured in Turkey, Taiwan and China and are closely monitored for performance and ethics in conjunction with the Fair Wear Foundation. The FWF audits the factories and this allows Picture to continuously improve and ensure that labor standards are maintained.
Picture Organic has calculated its own carbon footprint and is constantly striving to develop its operations in the best possible way for the environment. They also intend to increase the use of renewable and low-carbon energy sources in their production process, especially in Turkey and Taiwan, which account for 84% of total production.
