Girlfriend Collective, founded in 2016, believes in ethical manufacturing and recycled materials. Old water bottles and fishing nets are their main raw materials for the leggings and tops. Transparency was their first goal when starting Girlfriend Collective and it is still one of the most important values for them. They choose every part of their process with care, from raw materials to facilities of their partners.See all products
Saving the world has never looked this good
Each pair of Compressive leggings starts with 25 recycled post-consumer water bottles. Did you know that almost all synthetic fabrics, like polyester and nylon, are made from plastic? (It’s true.) Girlfriend Collective make theirs from materials that would otherwise clog landfills and threaten wildlife.
Girlfriend Collective leggings are certified safe by Oeko-Tex and guaranteed recycled. There is a disturbing trend in 'recycled' fabric production where some facilities will purchase unused water bottles to turn a higher profit. Girlfriend Collective center is monitored by the Taiwanese government recycling authority to ensure that only used water bottles go into our bras and leggings.read more from girlfriend collective website
