A bunch of old water bottles have never looked so good

Girlfriend Collectiven värikkäät leggingsit ja urheilutopit kaiken kokoisille vartaloille valmistetaan ekologisesti ja eettisiä tuotantoprosesseja kunnioittaen. Vuonna 2016 perustetun brändin takana on pariskunta Ellie ja Quang Dinh. Girlfriend Collectiven tavoitteena on olla mahdollisimman läpinäkyvä koko tuotantoketjussa, aina raaka-aineiden valinnasta ja käsittelystä kankaiden ompeluun.

Girlfriendin valikoimasta löytyy kierrätetystä polyesteristä valmistettuja treenivaatteita. Jokainen tuotantoprosessin vaihe on tarkasti mietitty huomioiden sekä ympäristö, tuotteiden laatu että ihmiset. Kierrätetyn polyesterin lisäksi Girlfriend valmistaa tuotteita kierrätetystä nylonista, jota saadaan merestä kerätyistä kalastusverkoista.

Tuotteet ommellaan tanskalaisen perheen omistamassa tehtaassa Vietnamissa. Tehdas on saanut SA8000 sertifikaatin, joka takaa mm. reilun palkan ja hyvät työolosuhteet. Girlfriend pyrkii jatkuvasti löytämään uusia ekologisia, vastuullisia ja eettisiä toimintatapoja, joilla suojellaan sekä maapalloa että sen asukkaita.

Maailman miellyttävimmät trikoot päällä! Ainoa miinus kestävyydestä, meni muutamassa kuukaudessa (kovalla käytöllä) haaroista pienille reijille ja nypylle ja piti tilata uudet samanlaiset.. (sai korjattua kotikäyttöön vielä ne vanhat)
